I often stood here and stared blankly at the sky.
The sound of waves in my ear was turning into a familiar melody.
I miss those days before I knew the ugliness of this world.
I miss my childhood when I was able to run freely in the safe protection of my parents.
Today, I stand here again with an unknown longing.
