Under the late summer sunshine

Artist’s Note

Under the dazzling late summer sunshine,

refreshing grapes are ripening gracefully.
The rich hues of the abundant fruits melt into the magic of light,

appearing brighter and softer in my sight.
Even the green leaves hide their forms within the hot sunlight.

The temporal and spatial dimension

where the grapes in the artwork are ripening is filled with a sweet fragrance.

And as I lift the brush,

I wish for both your life and mine to be filled with sweet things.
