Artist’s Note

You seep into my sight like fragments of light.
I open another eye within me, and I look at you.

Color and form break apart, scattering,
then quietly gather themselves again.

When the wind brushes past, dormant hues awaken
and tremble with the names of forgotten memories.

Layered petals turn into delicate shards of light
and whisper the story you carry.

Where the momentary brilliance fades,
you bloom as a crystal of light,
hiding within an eternity that cannot be broken.

And I see you there.
